- Since Aetas Design charges by the hour ($65/hr), the cost is determined by the time it takes to complete a project. Other fees, such as rush completion may also add to the cost.
- How does hourly rate work?
- We charge $65/hr for all programming, design, and maintenance. The client's project will be quoted at a certain number of hours and from there the final price is estimated. Changes to the project or unforseen complications (depending on the nature of the project) can add more hours of work, but a new estimate can be provided if requested. For more, see Hourly Rate.

- We do offer discounts! For all work other than website maintenance we offer Return Client, Start-Up Business, and Multiple Service discounts. For more, see Discounts.
- Is owning a website worth it?
- Having a website is a valuable asset to your company that not only gives you access to a world wide market, but it also shows to your customers that you are worth doing business with. For more, see Is It Worth It?
- How long does it take to have a web site designed?
- It really depends on the clients needs. For example, if the client only needs an informational website with text and graphics, but doesn't need any forms or custom dynamic features it would probably take roughly 35 hours. On the other hand, if the client needed a website where they could sell products, change content, and keep track of users or data (in addition to the design and graphics) then it could take roughly 120+ hours. - How do I get a website?
If you don't already have a website, you should start thinking of what domain name you want (e.g., aetasdesign.com). When you come up with one that you like, make sure it is available for purchase and not owned by someone else already. When you've made sure you can purchase it you should go to a Domain Registrar such as GoDaddy.com. Setup an account and purchase your domain. If you would prefer, Aetas Design can setup your domain purchase when you request a website design.
In addition to buying your domain name, you will need to purchase web hosting. A web host provides storage and accessibility to your website from the internet. Without it, your website cannot be accessed. When you have your domain name, you should signup with a reliable web hosting service such as KnownHost.com. Once you've purchased hosting, you may need assistance in directing your domain name to the web host. Again, we can help set all of this up when you need a website built.
- Why can't I find my website when I search for it?
- When you put up a website, search engines like Google and Yahoo may take several weeks or months to index your site. Even once it is indexed it may take longer to find because of a lack of Search Engine Optimization, or the keywords used in your site. In a nutshell, if you have lots of keywords you will move up in the search engines faster. It takes more than just lots of keywords though and you may need a professional to help you. Thankfully we can help with that too!
